Northwest Designer Craftartists presents NWDC at RailSpur, an exhibition bringing together work by 34 NWDC members from across the Pacific Northwest. On view October 1 through November 13, the exhibition introduces NWDC through the wide range of materials, processes, and approaches represented by its members.
The show will present large sculptural works and installations alongside intimate moments created through small, finely detailed pieces. Work in wood, fiber, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metal, paper, basketry, and mixed media will demonstrate the breadth of contemporary craft and the distinct practices found within NWDC’s membership.
NWDC at RailSpur is designed to build new connections between NWDC’s artists and the public while creating momentum toward NWCraft27. Opening in summer 2027, NWCraft27 will be the first edition of a new annual summer exhibition bringing together NWDC artists, invited artists, and artists selected through a national juried open call. The annual exhibition is supported by the Ron Pascho Legacy Fund.
